Nancy Watson has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, including schools, community mental health organizations, and outpatient treatment programs. She is passionate about helping patients navigate mental health challenges, manage developmental and life transitions, and achieve their personal goals.

Ms. Watson helps patients improve their functioning and realize their full potential through a multifaceted approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She also provides parent coaching.

Ms. Watson is active in the community, serving on numerous professional advisory boards and engaging with social service organizations committed to the mental health and well-being of our youth, including Erika’s Lighthouse, LEAD, and The Social Institute. She is a frequent presenter at schools, businesses and community organizations on mental health topics such as anxiety, depression and building resilience.

Ms. Watson earned her Master’s of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, School of Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

Ms. Watson enjoys cooking, traveling, yoga, reading and spending time with her family.
