Alissa Stolberg feels strongly about providing a safe and comfortable environment for her patients, allowing them to explore their feelings and develop healthier life-coping strategies. She utilizes a variety of proven treatment methods to help individuals navigate life’s transitions and achieve their personal goals, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused therapy and Self-Psychology.

Ms. Stolberg understands the personal, social and academic challenges faced by children and adults. She is an experienced social worker and has worked in schools on Chicago’s North Side and North Shore. She is a North Shore resident and brings a solid understanding of our community to her work with children, adolescents and adults.

Ms. Stolberg has conducted individual, parent, group and crisis counseling focused on life’s struggles, depression, peer conflict, social skills, performance pressures, executive functioning and academic struggles. Additionally, Ms. Stolberg has a strong interest in health and wellness and works with patients who struggle with eating disorders.

Ms. Stolberg earned her Master’s of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and her Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Ms. Stolberg enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and being with her family.
